Where did the idea for mentoring come from?
Over 19 years of working in the interior design industry — from projects in Poland, through Sweden, to the demanding U.S. market — I have learned one most important thing: Interior design is not just about aesthetics. Above all, it is a process that can (and should!) be carried out with calm and clarity.
Over the years, I have watched my colleagues in the industry struggle with immense pressure, chaos on construction sites, and challenging relationships with clients. Many of them reached out to me privately, asking the same questions:
- “Patrycja, how do you manage to stay so calm even in the biggest crisis?”
- “How do you work in a way that clients listen to you and respect your decisions?”
- “How do you build relationships so that clients not only come back years later, but also actively recommend you to others?”
I realized that what had become a natural way of working for me—developed over nearly two decades of experience and refined daily in my studio— Dmowska Design — is the “missing link” for many designers.
The mentoring I offer was not born from theory. It grew out of practice and a genuine need to support people who, like you, love design but do not want to sacrifice their well-being in the process.
I believe that a designer who works at their own pace and within a well-structured system creates higher-quality projects. My goal is not to teach you how to design. My goal is to show you how to organize your process so that you regain confidence, authority in the eyes of your clients, and—above all—the peace of mind you have been looking for.
I invite you to collaborate, where my experience becomes your support.
